For many years, Bluebird has warmly welcomed travelers from around the world to our guesthouse on the north coast of Mauritius. Nestled in a lush, tranquil garden just a short stroll from the stunning Pereybere beach, our property features six charming studios, two spacious villas, and a shared pool for guests to relax and unwind.
What we have to offer
Our accommodations are self-catering, with each room featuring a private kitchenette. You can order fresh bread for breakfast (except on Sunday) and make use of our honesty bar. We also have a communal barbeque for outdoor dining. Daily housekeeping service is provided (except on Sunday and public holidays). We provide bed linens, towels, and beach towels, and can supply a baby cot upon request. WiFi is accessible throughout the garden and all rooms.
Studio Flats
All 6 of our studios come with a private kitchenette equipped with a gas stove, fridge, kettle, and drip coffee maker, as well as a bathroom with a shower. The living/bedroom area has a fan and air conditioning and leads to a private terrace/balcony. The ground floor studios can sleep 3 people, while the first floor studios can accommodate 2 people.

Our small, rustic villa sleeps up to 5 people. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen with a gas stove, fridge, kettle, and drip coffee maker, as well as a living room with a smart TV and an indoor dining area. One of the double bedrooms and an en suite bathroom are on the ground floor, while the second double bedroom and single bedroom, both with access to a second bathroom, are on the first floor. The terrace has an outdoor dining table and couch, with a view of the pool and garden.

Our spacious villa sleeps up to 8 guests. The ground floor includes a living room with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs, there are three more bedrooms and two additional bathrooms. Outside, the terrace has seating and dining space, with views of the private pool and garden. The villa is air-conditioned and soundproofed for a peaceful stay.

Our guest relations manager is here to help you plan a variety of activities. From the sea, you can enjoy a catamaran excursion, a private boat tour, swimming with dolphins, scuba diving, or deep sea fishing. On land, you can take a tour of the island with a private driver, go hiking, exploring waterfalls, or rent a car/scooter. Antony and Joe were excellent hosts. The property was immaculate and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The location in Pereybere was fantastic as it was quieter than Grandbaie but still had an amazing beach, great restaurants and a walk to a large supermarket. Also very easy to catch a bus or taxi to Grandbaie. Will definitely look to come back to this property
